&lt;p style="margin-bottom: 0in;"&gt;With two outs in the ninth inning in Detroit and Armando Galarraga working on a perfect game, the Cleveland Indians’ Jason Donald bounced a ball to Miguel Cabrera. Cabrera fielded it and threw to Galarraga, who was covering first. The ball beat the runner — and Galarraga would have been the 21st pitcher to throw a perfect game.&lt;/p&gt;

My brother is an Assistant Trainer with the Tigers, so I called him to hear his thoughts about the game.&lt;br /&gt;

Cabrera fielded it and threw to Galarraga, who was covering first. The ball beat the runner — and Galarraga would have been the 21st pitcher to throw a perfect game.
